The 2009 Cape Lodge Shiraz has taken out a gold medal at the Margaret River Wine Show.
2009 was a textbook vintage at Cape Lodge with the fruit showing ripe spicey varietal characters.
The 8 acre vineyard at Cape Lodge was planted in 1998 and is now producing sensational quality Shiraz and Sauvignon Blanc.
The award winning 2009 Reserve Shiraz was made by the very talented young winemaker Liz Dawson andwill be released in December 2010.
Our 2010 Sauvignon Blanc and Shiraz vintage is looking like our best ever.
The long warm summer days have produced nice ripe tropical characters in the Sauvignon Blanc. The Shiraz will be harvested some time this week with the grapes also looking in excellent condition.
Our 2009 Shiraz which was made by Fermoy Estate for the first time will be bottled later this month and looks like being a trophy winner.
