DOLPHIN DISCOVERY CENTRE BUNBURY

The Dolphin Discovery Centre is Australia’s premier wild dolphin experience, offering four levels of interaction including Interpretive Centre and Theatre, Interaction Zone, Dolphin Swim Encounters (accompanied by their marine biologist), and Dolphin Eco Cruises. They new 360° Digital Dolphinarium (opened May 2011) will be the first of its kind in the world.

These products combined, provide a unique opportunity for one to discover more about these ambassadors of the ocean. The centre is a not for profit organisation with a focus on tourism, research, education and conservation.

On site, you may have the opportunity to interact and observe the dolphins within the Interaction Zone, browse the Dolphin Souvenir Shop, be entranced by the Discovery Room,  and experience the sights and sounds of the dolphins in their new  Digital Dolphinarium (opened May 2011), or sit back and enjoy a Yahava coffee from their Café overlooking Koombana Bay.

For the opportunity of a close encounter with the dolphins of Koombana Bay, take a Swim-On-The-Wild-Side with their Marine Biologist and trained volunteers.

Join a Dolphin Eco Cruise aboard AB Sea Charters purpose built vessel – the Bunbury Observer. You’ll be able to observe the antics of the dolphins as they frolic and play in their natural environment.

October to May:  8.00am – 4.00pm
June to September: 9.00am – 2.00pm
