The new Cape Lodge Music Club kicks off with a superstar concert!

Internationally celebrated guitarists the Grigoryan Brothers play an intimate concert  in the Cape Lodge restaurant as part of their Australian tour.

Slava and Leonard Grigoryan are counted amongst the best musicians of their generation, enthralling audiences with the energy of their performances - a stylistic mix of classical, jazz and contemporary world music.

All Music Club guests are invited to join us at noon in the bar for a pre-concert aperitif. Then take a seat and enjoy the hypnotic guitar skills of the Grigoryans as they showcase a new repertoire of music from their latest album, Songs Without Words.

After the performance, mingle with your fellow concert goers and the Grigoryans at our High Tea Party -   enjoy delicious morsels from our kitchen, free flow bubbles, wines and local beers.

Kick things off with a painting workshop on Saturday afternoon  -  a hands-on class where you'll learn the joys of water colour painting whilst sharing some cheese and Cape Lodge wine.

Then spend a perfect Sunday morning with Fi exploring the Cape Lodge grounds in a guided sketchbook session. Taking inspiration from the natural shapes and colours around you, your sketchbook will soon be alive with your own sketch-stories.

As part of our cooking class calendar this October we are excited to announce guest presenter Sarina Kamini and her HEALTHY COOKING WITH SPICES demonstration cooking class + lunch.

Sarina is an Australian-Kashmiri author who lives and writes in Margaret River.
A former food + culture journalist, she worked for fifteen years in newspapers, food guides and magazines in Paris, Edinburgh, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Sydney and Barcelona.
Her first book, Spirits in a Spice Jar, was published May 2018 by Westland Books.

Join this fantastic day and explore the art of spice balance, learn Kashmiri cooking techniques, share a wonderful lunch and take home traditional Kashmiri recipes. 

Sarina will introduce the health benefits of spices, beginning with how to balance spice flavours and their effects on the palate and finishing with the creation of a traditional Kashmiri banquet.

After the cooking demonstration, enjoy lunch in the Cape Lodge restaurant with dishes that celebrate the magic of these spices.
