Discover the Southern Forest Valley region of the South West where the immense Karri, Marri and Tingle trees are interspersed with rich agricultural lands and quaint country towns. Regarded by many as Western Australia's  food bowl,  a wide variety of fresh produce is grown here including chestnuts, finger limes, cherries, pink lady apples, rare Black Perigord truffles and the South West native fresh water marron. We set off after breakfast for a one hour scenic drive to the lovely old town of Nannup for homemade scones. jam and cream at the Nannup Bridge Tearooms. A short drive will then take us to Manjimup for a  black truffle hunt, with the truffle dogs followed by a  wine tasting and lunch at the Wine and Truffle Company. After lunch we will visit the Blue Ridge Marron Farm for a tour of the ponds and facilities which includes a sample of marron cooked on the spot accompanied by delicious truffle aioli!

Please note the Truffle Season is June, July and August. Outside truffle season the Wine and Truffle Co will substitute the hunt with a Truffle Dog Demonstration. You hide the truffle and they will find it!

This wine and nature lover's tour starts with a leisurely canoe tour down a stunning section of the tranquil Margaret River before heading to one of Margaret River's best surf breaks for a cup of coffee to see where the winemakers relax. Next spot marron and wildlife at an ancient waterhole, enjoy a local honey tasting and reflect on 30,000 years of Aboriginal history. Gain exclusive access to Fraser Gallop Estate, one of the region's emerging superstars and match your favourite wine with fresh local produce. Finish the day with a 4WD adventure and walk on a spectacular section of the Cape to Cape Track overlooking the Indian Ocean where you may spot kangaroos, dolphins, whales and wildflowers depending on the season.

Depart Cape Lodge by car to Amelia Park winery and enjoy a wine tasting in their incredible private room that overlooks the vineyard.followed a seated private wine tasting in the award winning boutique gem Windows Estate. We will then take you to another hidden gem Cape Grace for a private wine tasting. The Helicopter will arrive at Cape Grace and fly you over the spectacular coast of Margaret River before arriving on the grass in front of the restaurant at Leeuwin Estate.  You will be greeted with champagne on arrival before sitting down for a magnificent 7 course degustation lunch matched Art Series Wines. You car will pick you up and return you to Cape Lodge.



1.5 Hours | $65pp | Departs from Ngilgi Cave at 4pm or 5pm

A wonderful cultural experience with Aboriginal learnings. Enjoy a short guided bushwalk identifying traditional medicine plants and learning the local Noongar connection with the region. Next venture into the Ngilgi cavern (pronounced Nil-ghee) to learn the Dreaming legends of the cave and hear a mesmerising didgeridoo performance.

Note: Ngilgi Cave is about a 15-20 minute drive from Cape Lodge, 250m past the Yallingup turnoff on Caves Rd.
