This private tour, in the comfort of either a Jaguar XJL sedan or a Mercedes Viano, centres the day’s activities around the Cape Naturaliste, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Wilyabrup sub-regions, perfectly highlighting the best of the Northern section of the Margaret River Wine Region. Designed and offered exclusively for Guests of Cape Lodge, this tour provides a wonderful day out at all times of the year!

Itinerary Details

• The day begins with a short walk along the iconic Cape to Cape track, from Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, south to Sugarloaf Rock. This is a beautiful, easy, 45 min stroll along a paved, gently sloping downhill walkway, showcasing a very picturesque section of the Indian Ocean coastline. A wonderful way to start the day! From Sugarloaf to the gorgeous Ilma Beach House on The Region’s north facing shore and right on the beach, for a coffee and morning tea.
• We then visit one of Wilyabrup’s premium wineries, Fraser Gallop, for a signature tasting experience.
• A short drive around the corner takes you to Vasse Felix Winery, where it all began in 1967 when Dr. Tom Cullity established the founding wine estate of the Margaret River region—perfect for a delicious lunch with matched wines. The restaurant offers a beautiful setting amongst the vines, to indulge in the regional flavours, textures and creative cuisine that compliment their premium wine collection. The menu is crafted from local seasonal produce and changes frequently as new ingredients become available.
• We then indulge with a stop at Gabriel Chocolates followed by our last stop for the day at Vasse Virgin Olive’s extensive factory and retail shop. You will notice a small selection of their beauty products in your room at Cape Lodge.
• We aim to have you back at Cape Lodge just after 5pm after a very satisfying and interesting day.
